The Revenue Model of Vertical is designed to support both users and the Vertical platform through several income streams. With multiple earning opportunities for creators and revenue generated from platform transactions, Vertical can sustain its growth while ensuring a rewarding experience for all participants.

How Creators Can Earn Revenue

Users on the Vertical platform can generate revenue through pay-per-use access to their AI models and datasets:

  1. Pay-per-use Access Model creators can monetize their models by offering users access in exchange for credits. Users can integrate models into their applications via API access, with creators earning revenue based on API requests and usage.

  2. Selling Datasets Users can earn from their datasets by listing them on the Vertical Marketplace, where others can purchase them for their own AI projects.

How Vertical Generates Revenue

Vertical generates revenue through two primary streams:

  1. Creator Subscription Payments Users will be able to freely use the Vertical Studio to train a limited selection of models to a certain extend. However, to deploy and use these models in their applications or list them on the Marketplace, they will need to subscribe to one of the platform’s monthly plans:

  1. Credit purchases To use the Vertical platform, we are using a custom credit system, where each credit serves as the standard unit for all transactions within the ecosystem. To learn more, please see:

How the Vertical Platform Manages Costs

Vertical will use a prepaid credit system to keep things running and avoid unpaid costs. Users need to maintain balance of credits, which cover the costs of usages of either on the platform and API requests. This way, usage fees are always prepaid, and the platform can automatically deduct fees without any issues related to unpaid transactions.

This structure not only protects Vertical but also ensures that users can manage their usage and avoid any unexpected charges.

Long-Term Sustainability

Vertical’s revenue model is expected to grow with its creators and users through subscription payments and credit purchases. A prepaid credit system covers user costs upfront, keeping usage safe. This approach drives Vertical’s growth, ensures long-term sustainability, and builds a lasting ecosystem for "vertical" AI models.
